Mixing at High Pressure.

When rubber is produced, hydrogen is blended with the rubber material at 90 bar pressure. Within this process, the strongly varying viscosity (from 1000 up to 50000 mPas) impedes the distribution of the hydrogen in the mixing vessel, which is also equipped with several heating coils.
The delivered agitator features a special bearing to absorb the pressure-induced axial thrust, thus allowing the drive to be operated without exposure to external forces.
The actual mixing is performed by a multi-stage Stelzer Sigma Impeller, which ensures both hydrogen mixing and optimal flow across the heating coils.
